SHELTER OPENS IN COAL DROPS YARD

Shelter has become the first charity to open a shop at Coal Drops Yard, the new shopping and restaurant district in London’s King’s Cross.

The leading housing and homeless charity has opened a flagship store for its new concept, Boutique by Shelter, which it is continuing to roll out across London ‘villages’.

Its new range offers carefully curated stock including rare collectibles, designer and vintage fashion and high-quality jewellery and accessories in stores designed by Hemingway Design.

At Coal Drops Yard – its 11th Boutique by Shelter outlet – it has joined over 50 other stores, cafes, bars and restaurants in Argent’s upmarket scheme.

The latest boutique store follows the opening of its new Richmond store earlier this year and those in St John’s Wood and East Dulwich last year. Its retained agent HRH Retail is negotiating on three other stores in Clapham, Highgate and Notting Hill.
