SAINSBURY’S ANCHORS AYLESBURY DEVELOPMENT
Sainsbury’s Local has opened in a Taylor Wimpey housing development on the northern outskirts of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Known as Berryfields, the scheme features 3,000 new homes, a primary school and Aylesbury Vale Academy, accommodating around 1,000 students between them.
The 4,500 sq ft Sainsbury’s store is in a new local centre developed by New Crest which includes another six units let to a pharmacy, fish and chip shop, estate agents and beauty salon.
Sainsbury’s has taken a 15-year lease on its store at £95,000 per annum.
