PRIME ALTRINCHAM INVESTMENT RACKS UP £650K
Two adjoining shops in a prime location in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, have been sold for £650,000, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.61%.
The properties lie in the pedestrianised stretch of George Street, close to the new Everyman cinema and the popular Market House. This artisan food hall, coupled with significant improvements to Stamford Quarter shopping centre, helped Altrincham win the title of UK’s best high street last year.
The shops are let to Hill & Hill The Jewellers and Admiral Travel on 10-year leases, the former effective from July 2019 with an upwards-only rent review at year five, the latter with 2.25 years remaining.
